3. SCLUB7
This was one of my first passwords, used mostly for my AOL email and Neopets accounts. If you don’t recall, S Club 7 starred in a very successful (by ABC Family standards) show aimed at the demographic that would eat up any generic pop group. I thought this password was both safe (all caps, including a number) and incredibly clever.
2. Sandrock50
Sandrock50 was the name of my best friend’s internet boyfriend at the time. I believe they met in a Gundam Wing chatroom, and their relationship went strong for two years before it eventually tapered off when my best friend started dating someone in her karate class. I used his name as my password mostly out of laziness, partly out of jealousy.
1. ForneyHull
In 2000, Natalie Portman starred in a weepy comedy-drama called Where The Heart Is, which was quickly forgotten. Forney Hull was the name of her love interest, and at the end of the movie, they get married at the same Wal Mart where he delivered her illegitimate child. I watched this movie whenever it came on HBO, and it makes me sad to see it in the $5 bin at Duane Reade.
